About

I paint to hold the two halves of life together.

I am an Indian visual artist based in Paris. My work moves from darkness to light.

I see life as a play of opposites — shadow and clarity, sorrow and joy, distance and belonging. I don't try to resolve them; I try to hold them in balance, to let one give meaning to the other. Each canvas is an attempt to find that point of equilibrium, where darkness is not the absence of light but the ground from which it rises.

I carry two worlds within me. Growing up in India and building a life in Paris, I have learned that light and darkness are never fixed — what feels like loss in one place can feel like freedom in another, and joy wears a different face depending on where you stand. Living between cultures taught me to hold contradiction without flinching: to belong everywhere and nowhere at once. This is what I paint — the quiet passage between worlds, and the same human heart beating underneath them all.
